The Office for University Women strives to empower, support and develop a sense of community among University of Minnesota women students. We provide educational enrichment, leadership development, and service learning opportunities. And we seek your input in designing programs and events that address interests and issues of concern to women students at the University so give us a call or stop in - wed like to hear from you.
Have a Question?

bureaucratic, and personal questions or for referral to helpful
services at the University and beyond.
In a Student Group?
We actively collaborate with student organizations interested in womens issues by
providing program planning expertise, advice and support, and sometimes we can
provide modest financial support.
Need Financial Help?
The Office for University Women administers two scholarships (Macpherson and Alumnae)
for women returning to school after a break in their education. The application
process begins in January for the following academic year.
Want to Get Involved?
If you have an idea for a program of interest to women or see an unmet need in the University community, please come talk to us! We base our programming and advocacy efforts on student needs and input.
