Departments may sponsor a University-affiliated individual for an e-mail account. Individuals with a department-sponsored e-mail account automatically have access to the University wireless network. Anyone is eligible for a departmentally-sponsored account, as long as that individual provides a service or function that directly impacts students, faculty, or staff. If you have questions about the definition of an official appointment, please seek the advice of the Human Resources consultant in your department.
