Phase I - A Cohesive System


On June 23, 2008 the Office of Information Technology (OIT) began converting buildings to the new UofM wireless network to assist University Students, Faculty and Staff with the ability to collaborate on education and research initiatives state wide.

  • Detection of missed Access Points (APs) - Underway

Phase II - Residence Hall Wireless Expansion

From June 15th, 2009 to August 7th, 2009 OIT enhanced wireless service in residence halls for full coverage to foster an extraordinary educational experience for University students living on campus.

Expected Outages

On the day that buildings are being converted, you should expect some outages with wireless service.
