Impatiens

Impatiens come in many colors and forms but the most popular andcommonly grwon type is known as Busy Lizzy. It is the best annual for the shady garden. Garden varieties were developed from plants native to India and Africa. Excellent as accent container plants.

Planting
Use transplants which are easily available after all danger of frost has past. Space them about 10" apart. They prefer the temperature at 70°. All varieties need lots of water.

Tips
Use for bedding, border, edging, or in containers. Is an excellent accent plant to ring trees and use as ground cover. Pinch back once or twice before setting out to promote compact, bushy growth.
