4. AGENDA ITEMS FOR 2005-06
Committee
members mentioned the following items for next year’s committee:
- Student Leadership Conference – discuss current issues, role of
Student Senate and campus assemblies, improve communication, unified student
voice; one in fall for just presidents and second one in spring for all
students
- Role of each body – email to campus assemblies and senators and update
as needed
- Student Evaluations – 3-prong approach: increase the number released,
revise website for results, and revise questions; SSCC needs to work with SCEP
and Vice Provost Swan to make sure that new questions are implemented
- Shared Governance – continue to ask that student consulting be made
into a Regents policy, similar to a Wisconsin State Statute; remind President
and discuss with Regents
- Improve communication with committees – continue to work on student
reports from each committee
