Government and Community Relations
Government and Community Relations interacts with state, federal, and local governments and campus neighbors to promote the University and engage them on issues of common interest.
What we do
- Promote the University’s state legislative request and monitor the political environment of the state.
- Coordinate the University’s national agenda by interacting with Congress, the executive branch, and national education policy groups.
- Strengthen the University's connections to local governments and Twin Cities campus neighbors; and engage neighbors in the planning process at the University.
