U of M Government Relations

University Relations. Office of Government and Community Relations.

Welcome!

You have found the University of Minnesota's Government Relations site. We hope you find it both educational and interesting.

It is our objective is to advance the interests of the University, for all our campuses, Twin Cities, Crookston, Morris, Duluth and Rochester at the Capitol in Saint Paul and in Washington. We ensure that the elected officials from Minnesota and around the nation utilize the considerable expertise available here at the University. We make sure the U has a voice in policy development related to higher education and research in general and promote more targeted opportunities to share our knowledge and research expertise with the government. We also work to raise the U’s profile statewide and find opportunities for our faculty to participate in legislative hearings, advisory panels, and educational forums.

I hope you find our information and these links helpful and that you will come back often.

Sincerely,

Dona' C. Peterson
