Home : Mass E-mail User Group
The mass e-mail user group, or MEUG, began in May 2008 after a need was seen to bring electronic communicators together to work through and better the e-mail component of communications that many of us now deal with. MEUG meetings are facilitated by the Electronic Communications group from University Relations.
The topics and intended audience at MEUG meetings can vary greatly, from general communications strategies to the technical details of executing something in Lyris ListManager, the University's current, central mass e-mail tool.
Note the time change. The meeting has been moved up 15 minutes.
Our next meeting in Wednesday, October 27 from 2:45-3:45 p.m. in Morrill Hall 238A.
Our main topic will be internal audience segmentation. Matt Sumera, Associate Director for Internal Communications, will present on Internal Communications' work in selecting and refining audiences on the Twin Cities campus and system wide. We'll also look at the data available to see how your college or unit can select leverage these ideas to select from your own students, staff, or faculty.
