Art Exhibits |
- The Goldstein Museum of Design –
Presents changing exhibits focused on the role of art and design in people's lives.
- The Larson
Gallery in the St. Paul Student Center and the Coffman
Art Gallery in Coffman Union –
Exhibits that are juried, installed, and promoted by the students of the
Minnesota Programs & Activities Council (MPAC).
- Nash Gallery,
Regis Center for Art– Creates a showcase for faculty
and M.F.A. thesis work, exhibits art by diverse local, regional,
and international artists, and provides a forum for educating
students and the public in visual arts.
- Weisman Art Museum – A
Twin Cities architectural landmark featuring a collection of
American art and a continuing schedule of special exhibitions,
lectures, and programs.

Performing Arts, Music, and Film |
- Ted Mann Concert Hall –
More than 100 free public concerts each year—University jazz, orchestra, band, choral, and opera—as
well as performances by nationally acclaimed arts organizations.
- Northrop Memorial Auditorium – Home
of the exciting Northrop Dance Season, jazz series, and touring
performing arts headliners. Auditorium seats 4,800 and hosts
major lectures and graduation ceremonies.
- U Film Society, Bell Museum Auditorium – The
best international and independent films and visiting filmmakers.
Seven nights a week. Tickets at the door.
- University
Theatre, Rarig Center and
Barbara
Barker Center for Dance – Classic
and experimental theatre with the broadest repertoire and lowest
ticket prices in town. Performances on four stages. The
Barker Center hosts performances and classes in Minnesota's only
building dedicated to dance.
