Grief Support Groups This list, courtesy of Allina Health, has been compiled to help those who may be interested in seeking assistance through grief support goups or individual therapy. It is organized by location and focused primarily on adult grief.
AARP The AARP is the premiere advocacy group for those over 50. Their web site is full of tips on such topics as avoiding fraud and scams.

Administration on Aging This site describes the federal Older American Act and it lists state agencies on Aging. It has a "what's new" section on technology, drugs, insurance and housing; and it provides links to the National Aging Information Center (NAIC).

Caring Connections This site, CaringInfo.org, is a program of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO). It is a national consumer and community engagement initiative to improve care at the end of life. It is supported by a grant from The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and has no advertising.

Elder Fraud Seeking to safeguard the elderly from fraud, the site provide information for dealing with scams and fraud of all kinds.

ElderLawAnswers This is a good place to start with any age-related legal questions. You do not need a law degree to understand the answers to your legal questions.

Grandparents.com Here you’ll find all kinds of tips and ideas on how to spend effective time with your grandchildren.

Mayo Clinic – Healthy Aging The MayoClinic.com web site has many articles and resources relevant to healthy aging.

RetirementNet is called the biggest retirement community on the web. This site offers information on seasonal and annual condo and apartment rentals, golf courses, RV living, independent, assisted and nursing care living across the country.

Senior Dating Services Ranked This site reviews the top 5 services for matching mature singles. The service rated highest is match.com and it has 2.5 million members.

SeniorHealth.About.com This is one of the more popular sites devoted to senior health issues.

USA.gov (senior resources) This is a great place to start if you have questions related to federal government services and issues. At this site you will find a set of at least 5-10 links for each of the following 11 topics Caregivers' Resources, Consumer Protection for Seniors, Education, Jobs, and Volunteerism for Seniors, End-of-Life Issues, Federal and State Agencies for Seniors, Grandparents Raising Grandchildren, Health for Seniors, Housing for Seniors, Laws and Regulations Concerning Seniors, Money and Taxes for Seniors, Retirement, Travel and Recreation for Seniors.
