THE IMPORTANCE OF ADVISING: Mary Moga's colleagues joke about the number of times she is thanked every year at the UMTC CLA Honors event for graduating seniors. This year, Moga is one of four U advisers to be honored April 20 with the John Tate Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Advising--along with Pamela Holsinger-Fuchs, UMC; Julie Johnson Westlund, UMD; and Gayle Woodruff, UMTC. The celebration highlights the importance of advising to the U's goals and student success.
