Summary: This guide will show you how to apply standard patches for version 10g installations of the Outlook Connector.

Applying Patches

Note: Windows 2000 and XP require you to have administrative privileges on your computer in order to apply patches.

  1. Double-click the patch icon to start the process

  2. At the Welcome to screen, click the Update button.


  3. Wait while the patch is applied.


  4. At the InstallShield Wizard Completed screen, click Finish.


Post-Patching Steps

Some patches may require additional steps to clean existing data. The following steps are current as of the 10.1.2.0.5 patch.

  1. Launch Microsoft Outlook and provide your login information, if needed.

  2. From the Go menu, select Folder List.


  3. In the folder listing that appears to the left, right-click on Calendar and select Properties from the context menu. Note: you are looking for the Calendar entry within the Oracle - <Your Name Here> folder.


  4. Switch to the Administration tab and click Delete.


  5. Click OK to exit this screen.
