How do I log into a resource?

Please see the "Logging Into Resources" section below.

I have logged into a resource but I only see a gray screen that says "You have signed in as a resource... Your capabilities will be limited", why don't I see the resource calendar?

Logging into a resource is ONLY for the purpose of setting up access rights to the resource. If you want to view a resource calendar or make modify meetings, please login to your personal calendar and open up the resource as you would to view another user's calendar.

How do I change a resource password?

Use the form at https://www.umn.edu/umcal/forms/ResourcePasswordChange/.

Logging into Resources

If you need to Log into a resource, please follow the steps below:

1. Start either the Windows, Macintosh, or Linux desktop client.

2. At the login screen, click on the magnifying glass


3. Click on the Resources tab


4. Find the resource by either searching by category or by resource name

5. Click on the resource and click OK


6. At the login screen, enter in the password for the resource and click on OK.
