University Computer Services sells various computer-related software and equipment at the UCS campus location. UCS also offers a computer equipment checkout program for University of Minnesota Faculty, Staff, and Students. UCS items available include:

• Refurbished Computer Equipment - UCS sells used computer equipment for the U of M community. All computer equipment is tested, and has a 30 day warranty.
• Various Software - UCS provides onsite software sales for University of Minnesota students, faculty, staff and departments at the UCS location. This operation will continue the service formerly provided by the Computer Bookstore retail operation. See the list of the software that UCS stocks in the showroom at 2218 University Ave. SE.
  • Microsoft Academic Student Select software - for currently enrolled U of M students
  • Microsoft Academic Select - for U of M departments
• Extended Computer Checkout program - UCS offers current U of M Students, Faculty and Staff the flexibility to check out computer equipment for a day, overnight, or an extended period of time.
