Antivirus Software
ADCS has an agreement
with Symantec Corp. to install Symantec Client Security (SCS) software
on any computer paid for with U of M funds and owned by the U of MN. This
agreement also includes software can be installed on one computer owned
by any University of Minnesota staff, faculty member, or student for personal
use. More information
regarding this program, U Rent-a-Guru (URAG) consultants will automatically
install or update the Symantec software for you, as well as set this software
software to automatically update daily. For non-University customers,
URAG consultants will recommend and can install other antivirus software
options.
