Microsoft Office 2003 troubleshooting/installation tips

 

 

Make sure previous versions or trial versions of Office are uninstalled.

Office 2003 REQUIRES Microsoft Windows 2000 with Service Pack 3 (SP3) or later; or Windows XP or later. Office 2003 Pro includes Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, InfoPath and Publisher. Office 2003 includes proofing tools in English, Spanish and French. However, it doesn't include an actual dictionary, just the translation dictionary.


My Microsoft Office product key says it is invalid...

  • You must uninstall all previous and trial versions of Office software, and reinstall the Office CD. Often, a trial version of Office asks for the product key, and the product key provided with this Office software will not work on the trial version.

  • According to the Microsoft Agreement, you can install Office on one desktop and one portable computer. However, you will probably have to contact Microsoft for another product key when installing on the second system.

  • If you already installed Office on one computer and it crashes and they need to install again, you need to contact Microsoft for another product key.

Office 2003 download questions:

When I go to START, RUN, and enter in the path, I get a "network path not found..." error.

The log in box keeps appearing when I try and access the download...
