U Card Office Mission Statement

The mission of the U Card Office is to provide and promote a user friendly, one-card access system that serves as the University's key to campus goods and services. The U Card program assists departments and collegiate units across campus by providing card-holder authentication processes, state-of-the art card technologies, and card production services that support student, staff and faculty academic and professional success.

Gopher GOLD™ Program Updates

NEW - Online U Card Deactivation!
When your U Card is lost or stolen you can now deactivate it online!

• Online U Card deactivation is immediate & permanent!
• Once you deactivate your U Card, it cannot be used by anyone & it cannot be reactivated.

To obtain a replacement U Card visit the U Card Office during regular business hours, bring a government issued photo ID, be prepared to have your picture taken and note that you may be subject to the $15 replacement fee.

To deactivate your U Card:
1) Go to the deactivation page
2) Click on U Card
3) Login with your X.500 & password
4) Click on the "Deactivate My Card" button
