You can use your U Card as a quick easy, cashless way to pay on campus. By swiping the magnetic stripe on the back of your U Card through the merchant's card reader, you can pay for printing using Gopher GOLD Value.
Gopher GOLD value is a declining balance, meaning you have to make a deposit into your Gopher GOLD account before you can swipe your U Card to pay for printing. You, your family, or friends can add money (up to $1,000) into your online Gopher GOLD account. Gopher GOLD Value is part of the Gopher GOLD Program run by the Twin Cities Campus U Card Office.
Once value has been added to your Gopher GOLD account, you can use your U Card to make purchases at printing locations. Gopher GOLD accounts are available to all U Card cardholders on the University of Minnesota Rochester and Twin Cities campuses.
Gopher GOLD Value is not cash refundable and only transfers between the University of Minnesota Rochester and Twin Cities campuses.

In case of questions or errors in your Gopher GOLD™ Account you must contact the Twin Cities Campus U Card Office to begin the error resolution process within 60 calendar days after you were provided the first statement or receipt on which the problem or error appeared.
