Eligibility & Access With Your U Card
Your U Card is used for many things on the Crookston campus. It is not just your photo ID! You'll use it to access campus services!
The U Card acts as a key to electronically identify a cardholder's role within the University community, thus verifying eligibility for campus services. Here is a listing of campus departments that use the U Card for access to their services:
- Used at University libraries to determine eligibility for access to their materials. All campus library locations that extend borrowing privileges require the U Card.
- Used to access Dining Services. However, the U Card Office does NOT handle your meal plan! Call 218-281-8538 for questions regarding residence hall meal plan access.
- The Computer Center uses the U Card to verify eligibility for laptop checkout.
- Used to determine eligibility for athletic and other student events.
- Used to determine eligibility for career/counseling services at the Counseling and Career Center.
