Access to Services

The U Card acts as a key to electronically identify a cardholder's role within the University community, thus verifying eligibility for campus services. Here is a listing of campus departments that use the U Card for access to their services:

• The U Card is used by University libraries to determine eligibility for access to their materials. All campus library locations that extend borrowing privileges require the U Card.
• The U Card is used to access Dining Services. However, the U Card Office does NOT handle your meal plan! Call 281-8538 for questions regarding residence hall meal plan access.
  
• The Computer Center uses the U Card to verify eligibility for laptop checkout.
• The U Card is used to determine eligibility for athletic and other student events.
• The U Card is used to determine eligibility for career/counseling services at the Counseling and Career Center.
  
• Use it as your calling card by signing up for the U Card calling card account!
