Public Parking Options

With the Huron Boulevard Parking Complex closure, public parking in the East Gateway District will be tight until replacement parking is completed. Try these suggestions:

* Park on the St. Paul campus and ride the campus shuttle to East and West Bank.

* Purchase an unlimited ride U-Pass or Metropass and take the bus or light rail to campus.

* Form or join a carpool.

* Bike or walk if you can.

Public parking in the East Gateway District:

1. Gopher, Badger and Wolverine Lots - The daily rate lots remain open until July 1, 2007.

2. Lot 37 - The daily rate lot will be expanded to 651 spaces by July. Carpool parking will remain available through the summer.

3. Lot 33 - Opens as a carpool lot in July 2007.

4. New Maroon Lot (formerly Hawkeye) - Will reopen as a daily rate location in August 2007.

5. Additional options may become available in late 2007 or in 2008.
