Internal communications best practices
Through research and hands-on learning, the following best practices for internal communications at the University have been identified:
- How a message is communicated has the potential to be more important than what is communicated.
- Timeliness is essential. The University community should learn about important news first from its leadership, not from the media or other external sources.
- Technology is not the solution, but is critical to the solution.
- Nothing beats face-to-face communication.
