The University will be closed from December 24, 2010 – January 2, 2011. In order to comply with the grading policy, the fall semester grades due date for the Twin Cities campus will change to January 4, 2011. This is, in effect, an extension of the grade submission period; however, all instructors are encouraged to submit their grades as soon as possible after the end of final exams on December 22, 2010.
Because of the change to the grading due date, collegiate staff and others have less time prior to the start of spring semester to complete critical processes that can have an impact on students’ academic and financial aid status. Late grades can result in some of the following consequences for students:
The online grading application will be available during the entirety of the closure; any questions during that time should be directed by email to the Student Records Training and Support Team at firstname.lastname@example.org. Prior to the winter closure, questions can also be directed to this team at 612-625-2803.
