The University Extends Beyond its Walls

The University has always shared its knowledge, the fruits of its discoveries, and the talents of its faculty, staff, and students with the communities it exists to serve. Together, University and community partners help businesses come into being, build bridges between cultures, tackle environmental challenges, and guide Minnesota families toward healthier lives.

The Office for Public Engagement helps the University build connections that cross the boundaries of its campuses.

The Urban Research and Outreach/Engagement Center (UROC) anchors the University's presence in the North Minneapolis community and supports community development projects there.
