Task Force Recommendations

On March 30, 2005, two committees charged with developing academic and administrative recommendations delivered their reports to University President Robert Bruininks. Those reports and an executive summary of the two documents are available below.

Executive Summary

On March 30, 2005, the Strategic Positioning Academic and Administrative Task Forces presented recommendations for consideration to University of Minnesota President Robert H. Bruininks. After review, the President will begin a period of broad consultation within the university community on these recommendations. President Bruininks will submit his recommendations to the board of regents in May.

Academic Task Force Recommendations

The Academic Task Force recommendations for the Twin Cities campus fall into three areas: undergraduate admissions, enrichment, and support; faculty culture; and the design of academic programs. The coordinate campuses are conducting their own strategic positioning processes and will submit recommendations at a later date.

Administrative Task Force Recommendations
