TRANSFORMING ADMINISTRATIVE OPERATIONS AT THE “U”
Current organizational structure
To build on all of the work that has come before and to ensure achievement of service and support operations that are best among our peers, an ongoing administrative leadership team was created in August 2006. The team is a standing sub-committee of the president’s executive committee. The Administrative Team oversees the successful completion of the first wave of administrative transformational projects, ensures the administrative task force recommendations are implemented, and identifies and oversees implementation of future administrative projects. In addition, the Administrative Team:
- Directs critical enterprise administrative processes such as the best practice/single enterprise identification and advancement process
- Brings University leadership into discussion as issues dictate
- Brings requisite decisions to the president and appropriate academic officers and communicate decisions to impacted groups
- Consults with University governance groups and communicates with the University community as appropriate
- Maintains accountability for the measurement of administrative operations, strategy, and project impacts
