Configuring Macintosh e-mail applications for SSL (TLS)

Below is a table which lists e-mail applications (clients), whether each supports SSL (TLS), and links to configuration instructions.

UM-Morris users are required to do the following:

Within the configuration instructions below, wherever you see smtp.umn.edu, please use smtp.morris.umn.edu instead. The smtp.morris.umn.edu outgoing mail (SMTP) server is specific to Morris users and is recommended by UMM Computing Services.
