Maureen Ramirez

Maureen Ramirez, who completed the Masters Program in Advocacy and Political Leadership at the University of Minnesota Duluth in May 2007, received her bachelor's degree cum laude in
writing-intensive English and Spanish at Marquette University in 1999. She is the Director of the Minnesota Civic Engagement Table, leading a coalition of nonprofits in their advocacy and
electoral work. Previously, Ramirez worked at the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits and at the
University of Minnesota as an Admission Counselor and as an advisor in the TRiO Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program.
She has extensive experience serving on committees related to civic engagement and currently serves on the Minnesota Latino Complete Count Committee for the 2010 Census.
