David Metzen
|
David Metzen graduated from the University of Minnesota with
a bachelor’s degree in elementary education in 1964 and was captain of the hockey team. He later earned a master’s degree and a
doctorate in educational administration from the University. After serving the South St. Paul School District as an elementary school teacher, a principal, and an assistant superintendent specializing in curriculum, he became superintendent in 1982 and served until his retirement in 2000.
Currently, Metzen is a leadership consultant and a director of American Bank. He has served on the boards of several nonprofit organizations.
