|The Board of Regents will be holding a public forum on the University Budget on May 11, 2012 at 12:30 p.m. The forum is open to individuals who wish to
address the Board regarding the fiscal year 2013 budget for the University of Minnesota.
The Board of Regents is interested in understanding the viewpoints and concerns of University constituents regarding a budget for fiscal year 2013. The Board will review the administration's
budget on May 11, 2012 and take action on June 8, 2012.
The forum will take place in the Boardroom on the Sixth Floor of McNamara Alumni Center, 200 Oak Street SE, Minneapolis, MN. Individuals wishing to speak should call the Board Office at
612-625-6300 or send an email to email@example.com (Subject Line: Public Forum) by 3:00 p.m. Monday, May 7, 2012 with the following information: name, email, phone number, the
group they represent (if any), their relationship to the University, and a general presentation topic. Speakers will be notified in advance about their order on the agenda. Information about the President's proposed budget will be available on the Board of Regents website www.umn.edu/regents in the May docket materials one week prior to the Budget Forum.
If the number of speakers exceeds the time available, the Board of Regents will determine a list of speakers who best represent views on a variety of issues.
Speakers wishing to provide the Board with
written information are asked to submit the materials by Monday, May 7, 2012 to the Board Office for duplication.
The forum will be video-conferenced on the coordinate campuses and speakers from those campuses are welcomed.
