Ann D. Cieslak has served as Executive Director of the Board of Regents and Corporate Secretary of the University of Minnesota since her election by the Board in October 1999. Previously she was an
aide to a St. Paul City councilmember. She has extensive experience in non-profit management, both as executive director of a non-profit organization and through service on a number of community and
non-profit boards, including Friends of the St. Paul Public Library. Cieslak is a member of the Board Professional Leadership Group for the Association Governing Boards. A graduate of Manhattanville College in Purchase, New York,
Cieslak has earned a certificate in non-profit management from the University
of St. Thomas (St. Paul) and has done graduate work in public affairs at the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey Institute. |
