Rollerblades
The University allows rollerblading on campus, but please remember that you are considered a pedestrian. Use sidewalks, but be courteous and careful. Always remain aware of others around you and use audible remarks to alert others of your presence.

Skateboards
Skateboarding is strictly prohibited on the University campus. The University Police Department fines skateboarders $90 and confiscates boards for 24 hours.

Scooters
Scooters are allowed on campus, but are prohibited from operating on any sidewalks. Individuals may ride scooters on bike paths located in the street, but not on the bike lanes on the West Bank or the bike lanes across the Washington Avenue bridge. Riders should dismount and walk their scooters along sidewalks to a parking location.

If a scooter has an engine of 50 cc or less, it may be parked at a bike rack. Scooters with an engine above 50 cc are required to be licensed and must adhere to all of the rules for motorcycles.
