PTS accepts cash and checks at all public facilities. Credit cards – Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover – are accepted at any hourly facility except when event rates are in effect.

- Some facilities alternate between standard and event rates.
- Event rates go into effect 2-3 hours before the scheduled start of the event.
- With a hangtag permit, evening students can pay $3.75 after 4:30 pm, Monday – Thursday, at Lot C55 during Northrop events. Free permits are obtained at the Office of the Registrar, 200 Fraser Hall, 106 Pleasant Street SE. Call 612-624-1111 for information.
- Nolte Center Garage offers parking for $6.00 after 4 pm, Monday-Thursday, when not charging event rates.

Complimentary Parking
If the facility is accommodating an event, patrons will be charged the event rate until 30 minutes past the start of the event.

SnOasis

Free off-street parking when a City of Minneapolis Snow Emergency is declared.
Enter after 8 pm and exit before 8 am. Drivers exiting past 8 am will pay the maximum daily rate including overnight hours. Avoid the top level and areas where snow has yet to be cleared or could accumulate. |

Disability Parking
Signed disability parking spaces can be found in all public/visitor parking facilities at the posted rate. You may park free at campus meters and signed on-street locations for a maximum of three hours. After three hours, meter patrons much either relocate their vehicle or pay the posted meter rate.
A state-issued disability permit or license plate is required to use these spaces. To apply for a disability permit, call the State of Minnesota at 651-296-6911 or University Disability Services at 612-624-4037.

Special Notice: All patrons who call for a private company (AAA, service station, etc.) to service their car while parked in a U of M facility - please be sure to inform the company that they must pay the posted parking fee to enter or exit the facility. Thank you.
