Parking Reservations

If you’d like to give an additional service to your guests, reserve a parking spot for them in advance. No longer will they need to search or pay for parking; it’s all taken care of for them.

What You Do

Make a reservation before 4:30 pm, ONE business day in advance.
Select the parking facility. (Reservations are available in most public facilities.)
Specify the date, time and number of guests.
Fees will be charged to your department's EFS account.

What They Do

Your guest will pull a ticket and enter the facility. (Your guest will have a parking space even if the facility is marked as “Full”.)
Upon exiting, they hand the ticket to the parking attendant and let them know they have a reservation. Your guest will be asked for their name and the name of the function or event.

AUTOMATION PROJECT

Reservations will continue at a facility until it is converted to an automated location. As parking facilities are upgraded, those locations will be taken off the Website system. You will see the drop-down listing of facilities get shorter in the coming months. You can continue to make reservations in facilities on that list.

The 21st Avenue Ramp on West Bank was the first location taken off the reservation list. Once a location is removed, then you will need to use our new system.

The new system offers prepaid coupons to allow departments to continue to provide paid parking for visitors. For those who made reservations online and relied on the attendant to check event listings, this process will be new for you. For those of you who received prepaid reservation vouchers, you will still need to request the new coupons in advance, but you will not need to print anything. These coupons can be picked up at our office or delivered for you using a University courier at your department's expense.

To place an order for prepaid coupons, individuals will need to fill out a simple form online (very similar to the reservations screens).
