In an effort to increase bike safety on the Twin Cities campus,
Parking and Transportation Services has partnered with Boynton Health
Service, Housing and Residential Life, TCF Bank, and the Wellness
Program to get you to "Lighten Up and Use Your Head!"
Beginning in April, students, staff, and faculty can purchase
a bike helmet and headlight together for the low cost of $20 (items
also sold separately). Helmets and headlights will be available
at the Pharmacy in Boynton Health Service. Just bring your U Card
and get a great deal!

Minnesota statute requires a white front light visible from a distance of at least five hundred feet and a red reflector on the rear. Use a red light, visible from a distance of five hundred feet to the rear, in addition to the reflector, to increase visibility.
