Before you sell your vehicle, you must obtain approval from your department head and Parking and Transportation Services - Fleet.
Whatever means you decide upon, PTS Fleet is happy to handle the sale for you.
For negotiated or bid sales on the Twin Cities campus, the buyer pays the department and receives a receipt. The buyer brings the receipt, along with a copy of the Inventory Services approval, to PTS Fleet and receives the title.
Coordinate campuses and centers host occasional bid sales. In those instances, PTS Fleet will send out the vehicle titles in advance.
