Online Billing Service (eStatements)
Parking and Transportation Services (PTS) and Fleet Services encourage
their customers to check out eStatements, an online billing service
that allows individuals to view department charges online. It's
simple. Just go online to (http://www.estatement.umn.edu).
View statements by CUFS or document number. Sign up to receive
detailed statements via e-mail. Paper monthly statements are no
longer mailed out.
If you have any questions about the eStatements, please call 612-626-7275
or e-mail parking@umn.edu.
Online Reservation System
Available to all University departments, parking reservations
provide a valuable service on campus. This service offers convenience
for your guests in two ways. First, they will not have to worry
about paying for parking, Second, they will not have to search for
parking. Your guests will have a parking space, even if a facility
is posted as "Full". They simply need to pull a ticket
and enter the facility. When they talk to the attendant, guests
should give the name of the function or event.
Your department simply needs to specify the date, time and number
of visitors. Fees will be charged directly to your department's
CUFS account. Reservations are available in most facilities. Please
note: Reservations must be made by noon at least one business day
in advance. Reservations are not intended to substitute for contract
parking.
Budget Charge Parking
With department authorization, University employees may budget charge
parking to a CUFS number by using an access card.
Employees who need to move around campus can use Budget Charge
Cards in the following campus parking facilities:
East Bank
- Fourth Street Ramp
- East River Road Garage
- Church Street Garage
- Oak Street Ramp
- University Avenue Ramp
- Washington Avenue Ramp
- Weisman Art Museum Garage
West Bank
- Nineteenth Avenue Ramp
- Twenty-First Avenue Ramp
- West Bank Office Building Ramp (top level only)
- surface lot C86
St. Paul
- Gortner Avenue Ramp
- surface lot S106
NOTE: Parking facilities allow budget charge parking on a space
available basis only. If a facility sign reads “Full”, you will
need to drive to another location to park. All fees are charged
at the hourly rate (no exceptions).
The department will receive a monthly bill to pay the parking fees.
Please call 612-626-PARK(7275) for additional information.
Validation Parking Program (V.I.P.)
Your department may request a validation ink stamp to make it easier
to pay special guest parking. Each stamp has a coded number that identifies
a department and its CUFS number. Validation ink stamps work only
in
pay-exit facilities. Guests' time tickets are stamped in your office
and simply handed to the attendant when exiting the parking facility.
Call 612-626-7275 for more information.
