Contract Cancellation

If you decide to cancel your contract for any reason (for example; if you are leaving the University or if you decide to bus instead), you must follow the steps below or you will continue to be liable for your contract payments.

FOR STAFF AND FACULTY CONTRACTS
Your cancellation notice must be in writing. Your contract can be cancelled by mail, fax, or online. Your correspondence must include your name, employee ID, home address, parking facility, keycard or hangtag number, and the last day that you will be using the parking space.Contract cancellation requires a minimum of ten days advance notice received at Parking and Transportation Services. For all requests that do not meet the advance notice, parking charges will continue for ten days. Please note: a cancellation cannot be completed and refunds, if applicable, cannot be processed until the keycard or hangtag has been returned.To cancel online, please fill out the form below.

FOR FAIRVIEW EMPLOYEES
Fairview employees should call Fairview's Parking Office at 612-273-7275 to cancel their contract.

FOR STUDENT CONTRACTS
A student contract is only cancelled after the keycard or hangtag is returned to the Parking and Transportation Services office at 511 Washington Avenue SE. The fastest way for a student to cancel his/her contract is to bring the hangtag or keycard to our office. Students may return their keycard or hangtag by mail, but the account will not be cancelled until the day our office receives the hangtag or keycard. The correspondence should include your name, student ID number, and home address. The mailing address is: Parking and Transportation Services, 300 Transportation and Safety Building, 511 Washington Avenue SE, Minneapolis, MN 55455.
