University students, staff, and faculty members are eligible for discounted bus passes. Several different options are available, depending on individual needs.
U-Pass and Metropass
U-Pass and Metropass are deeply-discounted, unlimited-ride bus passes available to University students, staff, and faculty. To get a U-Pass, you must be a currently enrolled student. To get a Metropass, you must be a current University employee.

Metro Transit Discounted Passes
A Go-To Card is a durable plastic fare card that works with just one touch and can be used over and over again.
You can store up to two 31-Day or 7-Day Passes and up to $400 in stored value on your card. These can be purchased t Student Unions (Coffman Memorial Union or St. Paul Student Center).
Metro Mobility Discounted Bus Passes
Metro Mobility is a door-through-door service that is available by reservation for people with disabilities who cannot use Metro Transit's regular bus service. For information on these discounted fare tickets, contact Parking and Transportation Services.
Deeply discounted Metro Mobility fare tickets are available to University students, faculty and staff at the PTS main office. Contact 612-626-7275 for more information.

HELPFUL TIP: order your pass in advance! Our system needs three full business days to re-activate passes. If you use your pass early, the three day waiting period starts over. Plan ahead and order your U-Pass before you need to use it!
