Biking at the U

Biking to the University can be a healthy, cost-effective way for students, faculty, staff, and visitors alike to get around campus. Biking, no matter if it is once a week or every day of the year, benefits everyone from the reduced traffic congestion to the lowered carbon monoxide emissions and cleaner air.

Get Involved

Bicycle Advocates, a Parking and Transportation Services volunteer group, always looks for opportunities to improve campus cycling conditions. Each member agrees to monitor a small area of campus with an eye toward bicycle issues. Members share what they have seen, for example: broken bottles in a bike lane or a severe parking shortage. Concerned, involved volunteers can help to make the University a more bicycle-friendly place. Call 612-625-1333 for more information.
