If a license plate is marked "MP" or "MOPED", drivers need to park at designated moped areas on campus with a FREE sticker from the U of M Police Department (UMPD). The sticker is required to park at these free spaces.
The Police Department is located at 100 Transportation & Safety Building, 511 Washington Avenue SE, East Bank campus. Hours are Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Drivers will need to bring three things to pick up the free sticker:
Mopeds and motor scooters are prohibited from all campus sidewalks and can be assessed a parking ticket for parking at bike racks on campus.
As a reminder, in Minnesota, all mopeds/motor scooters must have a license plate.
