The U of M, in partnership with the City of Minneapolis, launched a public bike-sharing system in Fall 2010.
These green bicycles can be checked out from public kiosks and returned to any other Nice Ride location. Season passes are available for about $50.
The first 30 minutes are free and additional time is available for a small fee. The program runs from April through November.
There will be 10 locations on campus along with 60 others in Uptown and downtown Minneapolis.
