Engagement and Research Initiatives: A Student Expo”

Student representatives will present a collection of research and
public engagement activities happening on University of Minnesota
campuses. A roundtable discussion at 2 p.m. between the students
and President Bruininks will highlight trends and innovations at
the University.

Concert: University Symphony Band
Ted Mann Concert Hall, 7:30 p.m. FREE
Music students from Eden Prairie High School will join the University’s
Symphonic Band in performing the works of Boccherini and Gabrieli.
Also featured is new work by Shafer Mahoney entitled “Sparkle.”
The band will also perform “Air” by J. S. Bach, “Slavonic
Dance, Op. 46. No. 7” by Dvorak, and “Armenian Dances”
by Alfred Reed.
