The Entertainment Room

The recent restoration of the entertainment room included the removal of barn wood added to rooms by the Moos administration, and the re-plastering of walls and ceilings. Quarter sawn oak trim, benches and bookshelves have been added to match the existing hard wood floors. The fireplace was restored to its original 1922 design. The addition of a powder room, and air conditioning as well as updates in the heating system, makes this room a usable space for small groups of people. The room is furnished with many items from the Dr. Ruth Hall estate. These items have been loaned to us by the Goldstein Gallery and include the Mission Style table, a slag lamp, and various chairs and foot stools.
The Friends of Eastcliff have donated many of the books in the entertainment room. |
