Out-of-School Time Programs: Rich Contexts for Development
Part 3 of From Inquiry to Impact: Youth Development in Out-of-School Time, a conference series

Date: January 28, 2005 (Also September 2004 and October 2004)
Location: Memorial Hall, McNamara Center

This Symposium Series is designed to bridge "out-of-school time" research and language of the academy with the practical experience of community leaders and youth development professionals. The half-day events are intended to increase research-inspired reflection by practitioners/policy makers, and user-inspired research questions for new inquiry. The timing is important: the MN Commission on Out-of-School Time was launched in December 2003, and this series will inform its recommendations and increase its impact by widening the circle of knowledgeable leaders and advocates.

The speaker will be Dr. Reed Larson.

Sponsor: MN 4-H Foundation; Center for 4-H Youth Development; Department of Social Work; and Institute of Child Development
