Healthy Foods, Healthy Lives: Setting the Agenda

Date: November 2 and 3, 2004

This conference will create further synergy among food and health researchers across the disciplines, in concert with key representatives from the food industry, government agencies, and key professional organizations. Participants will develop an action plan to advance research and its application to food production and processing, consumer choice, public policy, and public health, to enhance the use of foods to prevent chronic diseases and to assure safe foods for diverse families and communities.
