From Inquiry to Impact: Out-of-School Time and Positive Adjustment
Part 2 of From Inquiry to Impact: Youth Development in Out-of-School Time, a conference series

Date: October 28, 2004 (Also September 2004 and January 2005)
Location: Coffman Union

The conference series is designed to bridge "out-of-school time" research and language of the academy with the practical experience of community leaders and youth development professionals. The half-day events are intended to increase research-inspired reflection by practitioners/policy makers, and user-inspired research questions for new inquiry. The timing is important: the MN Commission on Out-of-School Time was launched in December 2003, and this series will inform its recommendations and increase its impact by widening the circle of knowledgeable leaders and advocates.

Sponsor: Institute for Child Development
Contact: Lisa Kimball, 612 624-8192.
