Intellectual Property Rights for the Public Good: Obligations of U.S. Universities in Developing Countries

This conference will provide a public discussion of the impact of intellectual property protection on making public goods developed at universities available to the developing world. The basic roles of land-grant universities will be evaluated against the backdrop of current events, such as the development of golden rice.
