Conference on Medical Devices: What is the shared vision for medical device development in the state of Minnesota?

This conference will explore issues such as: "What are the roles in industry to direct and enhance research and development of technologies at the University?" "What are the roles of government policy in basic medical device research at the research university and in technology transfer to industry?" "How should cutting edge basic or applied research (new biology/tissue engineering) developed within the university best be interfaced with the medical device industry?" "What are the roles of the University to ensure that newly developed technologies optimally benefit: health care delivery, the education of our bioengineers, future health care providers and/or society in general?
