You are welcome to use the following graphics and txt in your communications materials. If you have questions about these files or would like another file type, please contact us at prepared@umn.edu.
 
TXT-U is the University of Minnesota’s emergency notification text messaging system. Students, faculty, and staff can stay informed about critical campus safety information by registering to receive TXT-U messages.
Only University of Minnesota students, faculty, and staff can register for TXT-U. However, you can add more than one mobile device to your account, registering your parents, family, friends, or others.
TXT-U will be used infrequently and specifically for real emergency situations.

Logo Downloads Logos are available for both print and Web.
The .jpg graphics on this page can be used ‘as is’ for electronic publications but should not be used for print. If a larger size is needed, please download the Photoshop and Illustrator files to properly resize the graphic.
Download for print: Includes scalable CMYK .eps graphics for use on coated or uncoated paper.
Download for electronic: Includes scalable RGB Photoshop and Illustrator graphics for electronic use (Web, email, PowerPoint).
Logo Use Guidelines
- The smallest size the TXT-U graphic can be is 80 x 56 pixels, or 1.111 inch wide.
- • The graphics fonts and colors should not be changed or reproduced in any way; use the graphic ‘as is’.
